Lauren Cutter has been with the HCA family since 2001 and has over 16 years of nursing experience in acute care and outpatient settings.

Richmond, VA (August 23, 2018) — HCA Virginia has announced that Lauren Cutter, MSN, R.N., RNC-OB., has been named the new chief nursing officer for Parham Doctors’ Hospital.

Cutter comes to Parham Doctors’ from HCA’s Reston Hospital Center where she served as the associate chief nursing officer for the past year. Prior to her role with Reston Hospital Center, she was the director of nursing, medical oncology, and women’s health-GYN/ONC Outpatient Infusion Center at Chippenham & Johnston-Willis Hospitals.

She has been with the HCA family since 2001 and has over 16 years of nursing experience in acute care and outpatient settings. During her time at Chippenham & Johnston-Willis, she served in various nursing and leadership roles including staff nurse and clinical coordinator with the Maternal Infant Unit and as assistant director of Women’s and Infants Services, where she was largely responsible for leading the day to day operations, education and staffing structure of those departments.

Cutter earned her Master of Science in nursing and Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix, Arizona. She is certified in inpatient obstetrics and is an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American/Virginia Nurses’ Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
